Midweek Schedule
Join us on Wednesday evenings during our Midweek semesters for Midweek at Spring Valley Baptist Church! Share a meal with our church family, then stay to sing, study, or serve through ministries designed for every stage of life. Whether you're attending a Midweek Class, rehearsing with our Praise Choir, or your preschoolers, kids, or students are participating in an age-appropriate event, Midweek is a great opportunity to continue to grow for His glory.
Midweek activities follow the following semester schedule:
Fall 2026 Midweek: Ends November 18.
Spring 2027 Midweek: January 20–May 12, 2027.
5:30–6:30 PM — Midweek Dinner (Fellowship Center)
Enjoy a meal together before Midweek's activities. The Midweek Dinner reservation deadline is each Tuesday at 12:00 PM.
6:00 PM — Preschool, Kids, & Students (Campus-Wide)
Pre-program activities begin for Preschool and Kids, and doors open for Students. Formal programs begin at 6:30 PM.
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM — All Ages (Campus-Wide)
Adult classes and groups, Praise & Worship Choir rehearsal, and age-specific programming for preschoolers, children, and students.
7:30 PM — Midweek Concludes
All classes and activities conclude for the evening

$9.00 - Dinner Portion (all ages)
$5.00 - Lunch Portion (all ages)
$2.50 - Peanut Butter and Jelly, Chips (all ages)
$36.00 - Family Cap (per family, per week)
What's the deadline to register for the Midweek Dinner?
The deadline for Midweek dinner reservations is each Tuesday at 12:00 PM.
What if I miss the Midweek Dinner registration deadline?
If you miss the registration deadline, we unfortunately cannot add additional registrations because our food order is already placed. You are invited to bring your own dinner and join us around the table in the Fellowship Center.
Midweek Classes
Praise & Worship Choir Rehearsal
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM - Choir Room / Worship Center
This rehearsal is led by Jason Burley and is for all adults that participate in the Praise & Worship Choir.
Prayer Meeting
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM - Room A112
For adults who would like to join others for a midweek group time of prayer.
Hard Sayings of the Bible
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM - Room A110
This Midweek Class is led by Steve Ameen. Some passages of Scripture are tough to understand. Join us as we tackle these “hard sayings” and discover what God is teaching us about Himself. Let’s grow together in loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.
Joshua: Every Good Promise Fulfilled
6:15 PM - 7:30 PM - Room A104
This Midweek Class is for women only and is led by Maria Owens. In this 10-session, verse-by-verse study of the book of Joshua, Jen Wilkin helps us see how God’s commands, though sometimes difficult, are always rooted in His steadfast love for His people. Come join other women of faith as we learn from Joshua's example of courage and faith and discover the hope we have in the true and better Joshua, Jesus.
House or Home? God's Blueprint for Biblical Parenting

This Midweek Class is led by Bernie and Kari Ochoa. With timeless truths about God's design for parenting, this series has the potential to forever change the trajectory of your family life. Come receive practical help and timeless wisdom from God's Word as you learn how to relate well with your children.
Grief Share
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM - Room A101
This Midweek Class is led by Jerry Sosebee. Find hope and healing after loss. GriefShare is a safe, supportive group for anyone who has lost a loved one through death, where you’ll receive encouragement and practical help in your grief journey. Experience comfort and peace as you walk this 13-week path together.
Students Midweek
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM - Student Building
Middle & High School Students meet in the Student Center on Wednesday nights. Doors open at 6:00 PM. Our student service is 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM. Students gather for games, worship & fun.
Kids Midweek
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM - Main Level / Kids Hallway
During Midweek, our children learn about missions and missionaries as they participate in mission projects. Parents must remain on campus while their child is participating.
Preschool Midweek
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM - Ark Atrium / Preschool Hallway
Parents must remain on campus while their child is participating.
