Student Disciples.

For His Glory.

Sunday Mornings

During our worship service on Sunday morning at 9:30 AM, we encourage our students to sit together or with their friends and families in the Worship Center.

During our Life Groups at 11:00 AM, our middle and high school students meet in the Student Center. Most Sundays, we start together as one group before breaking into Life Groups. Life Groups are separated by grade and gender. They are designed to connect every teenager with a consistent, trustworthy adult and a community of their peers. Students will dig deeper into the lesson and participate in a group conversation here.

Wednesday Nights

On Wednesday nights in the fall and spring semesters, our middle and high school students meet in the Student Center for Midweek at 6:30 PM. Doors open at 6:00 PM. Midweek is designed around large-group teaching and round tables to engage and equip students with the tools to live a Christian life.

Making student disciples for the glory of God.

The student ministry at Spring Valley Baptist Church exists to make sure the next generation in Northeast Columbia has the opportunity to know Jesus.

We believe the decisions made during the teenage years help set the trajectory for the rest of a person’s life, so our programming, teaching, and training are intentionally designed to equip students for a life of godly living. Our goal is simple: that students would learn to love God, love lost people, and love the church. We love new faces, and we’d love the chance to welcome you into our family.

There are three big environments for teenagers in our ministry — Sundays, Midweek, and Events. Each one is designed to strategically invite teenagers on a journey into a deeper relationship with Jesus. Our environments are designed to engage the first-time visitor and the student who grew up in the church.

We are honored to partner with you as parents, encouraging and equipping you as you guide your child to know and follow Jesus. It is our prayer that your child will grow each day, learning to love God and others, and, just as Jesus did, to grow in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and people.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Throughout the year, we’ll host several big events designed to help teenagers connect with their peers and Jesus.
