Spring Valley Baptist Church Preschool

Our preschool is a non-profit Weekday Early Education ministry that operates on a part-time basis (mid-September-mid-May). Our hours of operation are 9am-12pm. We offer classes for children ages one through 4 by September 1 of the current year. We follow the Richland School District 2 calendar for holidays and weather related closings.

We utilize "learning through play" concepts which are supported through our Christian based curriculum, ABC Jesus Loves Me. The curriculum is appropriately designed to the age groups and to the development of each individual child. Each member of the teaching staff had the competency and the understanding essential in teaching your children in a Christian environment.

We believe that children absorb their concepts of God from people, things, and experiences that are a part of their environment. Thus, a love and appreciation of God and the things He has made are stressed throughout age-appropriate activities.

As a non-profit Preschool ministry, we are open to children regardless of race, creed, color, sex, nationality, or religious beliefs. To attend our preschool, ones must be walking for safety and sanitary reasons. Three year olds must be fully potty trained according to DSS regulations regarding our space requirements.

We receive many inquiries from potential preschool families, so it is important to remember that enrollment is on a first come first served basis. A waiting list is available when each class is full.
